Shipping Rates
Within Australia, a low flat rate postage fee is applied to the order. This means that it doesn’t matter how much you purchase, you will only pay the same low postage rate.
Customers outside of Australia have a shipping fee which can be calculated to items in your “cart”. Tarkine Models is not responsible for import duties or charges.
All prices are displayed in Australian Dollars.
Couriers and P.O. Boxes
Tarkine Models will where possible send purchases via courier. However in some rural areas courier coverage is not easily possible. In this case Australia Post will be used.
Couriers are unable to deliver to P.O Boxes and Australia Post will be used instead.
How long until I receive my order?
Tarkine Models will endeavour to mail out purchases within 4 working days. Customers within Australia can typically expect to receive their parcel within 5-10 working days. International deliveries can take up to 4 weeks.
Warranty and Change of Mind Returns
Whilst every piece is checked for quality, cosmetically the 3D printing process used to make this product can result in some imperfections such as small bumps or lines in the finish. Resin parts may have some warping. This is normal and is not regarded as a fault. However if at any time you have problems with your product, please contact us immediately so that we may fix the issue.
Tarkine Models offers 12 months warranty on all products to be free from manufacturing defects and issues. Breakages due to abuse or mistreatment of the products do not fall under the terms of this warranty.
Some of the resin parts in our kits are very fine in nature and detail. We understand that accidents happen, so if you accidently break a resin part, please contact us for a FREE replacement part, just pay postage/shipping costs. Please note that replacement resin parts may need to be produced on demand, so a small delay in sending the part out to you may occur. Colours may also change.
Do not overtighten any supplied screws, overtightening may damage product. In addition, if you feel that this product does not meet your expectations of quality, please contact us to discuss the problem so that it may be rectified. In the event that a faulty product must be returned, Tarkine Models will either pay for the return, or at it’s discretion provide a refund instead.
First generation CAB GRAB to suit NCE notice: If you purchased a first generation CAB GRAB to suit NCE (all purchases before May 2020) you should have recieved a free replacement/upgrade to the Gen2 CAB GRAB to suit NCE, due to an issue that developed with a number of the first generation models. If you purchased your first generation model from Leading Edge Electronics Burnie and have had an issue with it, please contact us to arrange a replacment.
Change of mind returns will be accepted within 30 days of purchase IF the item is still brand new UNOPENED and in a re-sellable condition, however you the buyer must pay for return postage and item must be packaged in a way that it makes a safe return. You must contact me before sending a return.
